Start with the exact SKU
Confirm the container, finish, matching lid or foil, food type, fill conditions and intended storage or heating process before use. Nominal capacity is not a recommended fill level; leave suitable headspace and test closure fit for your application.
Catalogue guidance is not a universal temperature rating, microwave approval or certification. Request SKU-specific instructions and validate the complete pack in your own handling and transport conditions before bulk use.
Aluminium body and heating
Heating suitability of an aluminium container body does not extend to its plastic lid, coating, label or other accessories. Use only the appliance, conditions and temperature limits confirmed for the supplied SKU. Remove plastic lids before heating unless explicit instructions for that exact lid and process say otherwise.
Do not assume microwave compatibility from an oven-use description. Use in a microwave only where both the exact product instructions and the appliance manufacturer explicitly permit it. Do not use on a direct flame or hob unless specifically instructed. Support the base when lifting and use suitable heat protection for hot containers.
PET and PP lids
- PET: a raised, transparent lid for product visibility and display. Transparency and fit do not establish suitability for heating.
- PP: a flat, leak-proof lid option suited to higher-temperature handling than PET. This does not establish a universal temperature limit or permission to place it in an oven or microwave.
- Use the correct matching lid, keep the rim clean and check full engagement. Validate leakage performance with the actual contents, fill temperature and transport conditions; do not infer suitability for inversion or every liquid.
Heat-seal foil availability
Confirmed heat-seal foil compatibility covers the 25 products in the takeaway price list except Round 420 and Round 630. These two round containers do not support this foil option. For bakery containers or other SKUs outside that list, ask Paczen to confirm compatibility.
Confirm availability and compatibility against the exact SKU and accepted quote. Use the specified foil and compatible sealing equipment, following the supplied process instructions. A foil option does not independently confirm heating or microwave suitability.
Storage and everyday handling
- Keep unused containers and closures clean, dry and protected from dust, contamination and crushing.
- Inspect for deformation, damaged rims, compromised finishes or damaged lids before filling. Set questionable items aside and contact us.
- Keep food-contact surfaces clean and follow your food-safety procedures. Confirm suitability for acidic, salty or prolonged-contact applications rather than assuming every food and storage duration is compatible.
- Avoid overfilling and support filled containers during packing and transport. Confirm freezing, reheating and reuse suitability for the exact product rather than assuming it.
After use and further help
Separate aluminium bodies from plastic lids where practical and follow local collection rules. Food residue, finishes and the local recycling system can affect acceptance; do not assume the entire assembled pack belongs in one recycling stream.
For advice, send the SKU, intended food, fill conditions, appliance and proposed handling process. Browse the catalogue or contact us below to confirm the right combination.
